Katrina Johnson | Founder | NewSky Consulting
Here’s the absolute honest truth… I’d seen Katrina (Johnson) from NewSky Consulting popping up in our local networking group and I’d followed her social media long before her email landed in my inbox. But, when it did – I was over the moon!
She’s the kind of client that you dream of working with and she’s a bloody lovely human as well. Katrina had downloaded my How to Write Your Website About Page e-Book and decided that I was just the right person to take her website to the next level.
Her business had grown and her existing website no longer reflected her current service offering. She was keen to make her website more user friendly, appeal and speak to her ideal client, improve her SEO and better capture her personality.
It was really important to Katrina that people visiting her website for the first time felt like her business was trustworthy, credible, warm and genuine. With the help of some amazing photos from the very talented Louise Williams, I think you’ll agree this website is a showstopper!
Design an 8-page WordPress website, including professional copywriting, that was user friendly, engaging and captured the personality of business owner, Katrina Johnson. In particular, it was important to make it easy for users to understand Katrina’s service offering and compel them (using words and conversion-focused design elements) to book in a free Clarity Session
I’ll be your No. 1 cheerleader, mentor and sometimes, I’ll give you the tough love you need to keep moving forward.
As part of my process, I always design the home page of a website first because it includes a number of elements that carry right across the site. I’m talking the main navigation menu, subscribe bars, buttons and super footers. Then, I write a draft version of copy and load it up.
The goal – to send this sneak peek to my clients for feedback before we go any further. This part of the process is always nerve-wracking for both myself and my clients. Have I met their expectations? Have I delivered something they’ll LOVE!
Well, I need not have worried with Katrina. She sent me a personalised video to tell me how much she loved the site! It was honestly one of the best moments of my biz journey so far.
